Enterprise Architect – GTM
StreamForce Solutions is seeking a seasoned Enterprise Architect with strong expertise in Salesforce
CPQ, Billing, and Finance systems, along with a proven track record of executing transformation
programs for Private Equity (PE) firms, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
As an Enterprise Architect, you will play a pivotal role in advising our clients on designing and architecting best practices to enable GTM tech stacks, accelerate value creation, and manage complex transformation programs during M&A activities. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of both technical and business processes and the ability to collaborate with C-level executives, strategy leaders, technical teams, and other stakeholders.
You will bring deep expertise in Marketing, Sales, Customer Support & Success, and Finance processes
to drive operational efficiencies, streamline business operations, and support the integration of acquired
entities. You will also work on creating value by aligning and optimizing systems during the
post-acquisition phase and driving synergies. Your role includes developing models that demonstrate the
value of our products and solutions to customers, tackling complex transformation challenges, and
Resolving critical architectural and design issues through innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead requirements gathering, process modeling, and document AS-IS and TO-BE processes during transformation and M&A activities.
- Facilitate discovery sessions, functional workshops, business process reviews, and analysis with clients, especially focused on M&A integration.
- Lead solution design workshops with business and IT stakeholders to develop the desired architectural design for GTM tech stacks and M&A system integration.
- Create scalable and adaptable solution architectures through prototypes, proof-of-concepts, and detailed architectural designs.
- Assess multiple solution options, provide justifications, and estimate the effort required for proposed solutions while communicating benefits, business impacts, and risks.
- Develop strategic roadmaps for implementing solutions during M&A integration and transformation.
- Design, configure, and test Salesforce & Revenue Cloud components, including integrations with external systems and data migration, ensuring smooth post-merger system alignment.
- Provide leadership and guidance on implementing transformative initiatives and best practices.
- Lead the design and deployment of Salesforce and other solutions to align with the client’s new operational structure after M&A.
- Support sales efforts by estimating technical effort, participating in pre-sales activities, and contributing to marketing initiatives.
- Demonstrate thought leadership through publications, blogs, articles, and lunch & learn sessions with clients.
- Coach and mentor junior associates to develop expertise in M&A-related transformations.
Required Skills:
- Strong functional experience in GTM tech stacks, finance, and M&A processes is essential.
- Extensive experience in designing and implementing solutions for Salesforce CPQ, billing, and finance, particularly during M&A activities and system consolidations.
- Deep understanding of multiple technology stacks, platforms, and frameworks.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages and the capability to read and write code.
- Expertise in architecture design, including the ability to create and communicate technical schematics and architectural diagrams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex technical issues, especially related to M&A integrations.
- Knowledge of security best practices and secure architecture design.
- Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and project managers.
- Ability to partner with business leaders to create a vision and roadmap for M&A integrations.
- Expertise in data and gap analysis, data conversion, and creating system interfaces during M&A.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with executives and both technical and non-technical teams.
- Strong project management skills, contributing to planning, resource allocation, and risk management.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology/Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 7+ years of experience in an enterprise-level role, preferably within a professional services organization, as a Solution Architect or Senior Business Consultant, focusing on complex ERP, Billing, and/or Salesforce solutions.
- Proven experience as a trusted advisor, partnering with business stakeholders and executives to create architectural solutions for M&A and business transformations.
- Experience in the full billing cycle, including product setup, quoting, ordering, invoicing, payments, revenue recognition, and ERP system integration.
- Expertise in managing M&A integration with platforms such as Salesforce, Apttus, Zuora, or NetSuite.
- Ability to lead system integrations and optimize tech stacks during the post-acquisition phase.
- Certifications: Salesforce Certified Revenue Cloud, or CPQ, with a preference for exposure to
- M&A integrations or PE firm transformation programs.
