Netsuite Senior Functional Consultant

Responsibilities:

• Leading and managing complex implementation projects from start to finish, including design, configurations, testing, training and deployment using NetSuite Best Practices
• Creating and executing an implementation roadmap
• Experience in accounting modules of FIN Management, Revenue Recognition, Multi-currency and Multi-Subsidiary Handling, and exposure to SuiteBilling is an advantage.
• Strong experience in financial close processes and taxation is needed.
• Provide guidance and best practices to clients to optimize business processes.
• Develop and deliver training to clients on how to use NetSuite for their business requirements.
• Identify and recommend processes that better support the client’s business, methodology, and approach.
• Partner with Salesforce/Automation Practice for development and architecture of integrations between NetSuite and other systems/applications
• Identify, evaluate, and recommend other key technologies required to support and improve the business process centered on the NetSuite platform.
• Design and Architect automations for the Netsuite and external systems
• Providing support for billing and accounting functions such as preparing invoices, processing payments, and maintaining accounting records.
• Developing, updating, troubleshooting, and maintaining code and customizations, including NetSuite workflows, reports, and scripts
• Creating customized objects to meet our business needs, including tables, fields & forms
• Manage multiple engagements, tasks, and assignments in accordance with the project timeline and budget.
• Research and test potential solutions based on client use cases to validate alternatives.
• Perform day-to-day operation, maintenance, project, change request, and support tasks for all NetSuite and accounting ecosystems involving renowned accounting tools.
• Document business objectives, use cases, business requirements, system specifications, workflows, and process documentation.

Skills Required:

• Strong Order to Cash and Accounting experience is needed
• Must have strong experience in Accounting and Finance processes
• Solid experience with NetSuite configurations, business process mapping and work
  flows.
• Understanding of Subscription processes in Suite Billing is added advantage
• Solid understanding of business and information technology processes.
• Ability to assess functional and technical gaps in designs.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with ability to adjust the message to the
  audience, expressing technical concepts in business terms.
• Excellent customer orientation and relationship management skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks to deliver outcomes based on business criticality.
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with business stakeholders.
• Experience working on integrations to NetSuite such as Avalara, CyberSource, SPS,
  Celigo, Workato, etc.
• Ability to identify application bottlenecks and opportunities to optimize performance.

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• 8+ years experience in NetSuite with advanced understanding of the business processes in accounting, finance, and the NetSuite platform.
