Free Plugins for PowerSchool
PowerTools
Administrators of the PowerSchool application currently do not have the resources to perform routine maintenance on their data. Often times, they will not discover they even have a problem until they receive an error, a report does not print as suspected, or until they happen to come across the data they know is invalid. Many times upon identifying that they have a problem, they do not have the resources to identify what the problem could be, much less how to correct it.
The PowerTools utility puts the power into the customers hands, providing them with the resources to diagnose many common problems themselves, and fixing them prior to experiencing issues within the application.
PowerTools is the ultimate diagnostics solution for PowerSchool. Developed over a period of 15 years in order to ensure that Schools and School Districts can easily identify and solve the data issues within their database.
Installation:
NOTE: Earlier versions of PowerTools must be removed before proceeding with this installation.
PowerTools Is a plugin for PowerSchool. To install PowerTools 5.1, Perform the following steps:
- Download PowerTools 5.1.1.zip
- In the PowerSchool Admin portal, click on “System Management”
- Click on “Server”
- Click on “Plugin Configuration”
- In the upper right corner, click “Install”
- Select the downloaded “PowerTools_5.1.0.zip” file from your downloaded location
- Click “Install’
- Upon completion, check the “Enable/Disable” check box.
- When prompted, click “Yes” to enable the plugin.
PowerTools 5.1.1 is now installed.
You may launch the master reports from Applications > PowerTools,
You may launch the student reports from the students “Academic Records” section.
