As we expand, we are seeking a results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) / Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team and accelerate our growth by generating high-quality leads and building strategic relationships.
Role Overview:
As an SDR/BDR, you will play a pivotal role in our business development efforts. You will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, focusing on companies undergoing growth transformations, including those in Private Equity-backed environments. Your efforts will directly contribute to expanding our market presence and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Prospecting : Identify, engage, and qualify potential clients, with a focus on those in the IT consulting, software services, and Private Equity sectors. Utilize various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn, and networking, to build a robust pipeline.
Lead Qualification : Conduct in-depth research to understand prospect needs and challenges, particularly around GTM implementation, Salesforce optimization, and technology stack integration. Qualify prospects as marketing-qualified leads (MQLs) or sales-qualified leads (SQLs).
PE and M&A Insights: Leverage your knowledge of Private Equity and M&A processes to engage effectively with clients who require tailored IT solutions to support their growth and transformation objectives.
Collaborative Campaigns: Partner with sales and marketing teams to develop and execute targeted outreach campaigns that align with our strategic objectives, particularly in high-growth sectors.
CRM Management : Maintain accurate and detailed records of all prospect interactions in our CRM system (Salesforce). Track and manage a dynamic pipeline of opportunities to ensure consistent follow-up and conversion.
Meeting Coordination : Schedule and facilitate meetings and product demonstrations with senior decision-makers, ensuring a seamless handoff to Account Executives for further engagement and closing.
Qualifications:
Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar SDR or BDR role, ideally within the IT consulting or software services industry.
Industry Knowledge : Demonstrated experience in selling IT consulting services related to GTM strategy, Salesforce implementations, and cloud solutions. A deep understanding of the Private Equity and M&A landscape is a significant plus.
Sales Skills : Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Proven ability to articulate complex technical solutions to business leaders and decision-makers.
Hunter Mentality : A proactive, self-motivated approach with a proven track record of exceeding lead generation targets and driving new business.
Tech Savvy : Proficient in using CRM tools (preferably Salesforce), lead generation software, and sales automation platforms.
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
